Job Description
- Fulfill demand requirements at optimum cost while meeting desired customer service level.
- Develop competent supply chain staff by improving their knowledge with the scientific supply chain basics, best in class process and defining clear roles and responsibilities for each function within the SC to attain the best value at plant levels without overlap or friction.
- Improve product availability while improving warehousing and transportation management and managing inventory effectively via applying latest GDP & GSP guidelines and methodologies.
- Prepare report with the expected order fulfillment date according the approved production plan including reasons behind the major unfulfilled products and their corresponding CAPA.
- Settle inventory targets according to the approved COGs and identify sub targets per material type (FG/RM/PK)
- Saving either projected or realized as a result of better negotiation, deals/contract, dead stock handling & avoidance.
- Fill the gaps between current processes in managing WHS tasks short projects at selected warehouses levels to improve utilization / efficiencies / securities
- Institute supply chain Performance Management System for staff and activities.
- Validated and reviewed current available master data, collected and validated missing master data by supply chain team from the other departments.
- Instituting SOP for master data creation/ update in order to ensure the continuity..
- Follow up raw material & packaging materials stores, consumables plus all departments that need stocks of materials either local produced or imported, notify all departments to prepare daily, monthly & annually reports about the stock & their needs. Follow up the internal & external stores.
- Prepare periodic reports of price stability or increase for petroleum materials, raw & packaging materials & in the foreign currency prices that effect on all plant needs.
- Prepare stock plans according to the production plan & production needs; type of products, quantities, raw & packaging materials availability, customer needs according of the sales plan….etc.
- Collect price list of all company needs “Raw & packaging materials…etc.” & prepare comparative reports to put the strategies according to the approved plans, best quality & prices.
- Develop & follow up supply chain staff performance, follow up the approved plans, review the updates in prices, exchange rate & prepare periodic reports to compare prices, quality & distribute the tasks in the department without any conflict.
- Prepare negotiation plans of prices, quality & contract details to reach the best deals according to the approved stock & production plans & achieve saving either in the expected or actual cost.
- Key Performance indicators:
- Achieve NLT 90 % order fulfillment and develop the required methodology to settle / improve on time order fulfillment.
- Minimize the current dead stock level of FG/RM/PM )obsolescence cost LT 1 % of COGS.
- Minimize the current inventory level to match the pharmaceutical inventory bench mark.
- Materials cost saving should be not less than 10% yearly.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree of relevant field.
- Supply chain Experience not less than 20 years in the field & 7 years at least in the same position .
- Pharmaceutical Experience is preferred.
- 6 October city residents are preferred.
