Job Description
- Studying projects files (Drawings/Specifications/Vendor List)
- Drawings take off and generating BOQ.
- Product selection.
- Communication with suppliers/vendors to confirm specifications/get prices.
- Providing Lighting Distribution/Designs/Solutions.
- Preparing quotations.
- Preparing submittals (technical datasheets – compliance statement)
- Providing LUX calculation for our proposed products.
- Providing technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client need.
- Discuss our proposal with consultants for approvals.
- Managing team and coordinating between projects Managing pre-sales and installation and maintenance teams.
- Handling technical and business development of the outdoor range for Schreder Portfolio in Egypt.
- Doing seminars for new products.
- Calculating total cost of ownership calculations.
- Building up specification with consultants during concept stage.
- Creating lighting presentations for landscape, Facade, LED, basics of lighting, street lighting, etc.
- Building up relations with clients in lighting field.
- Prepare Solutions that fit with the received requirements and specs
- Prepare submittals “technical datasheets – compliance statement “Technical Approvals
Job Requirements
- Must Have lighting Background experience
- BA of engineering - Electronics/electrical Major
- Has managerial skills and can a lead a team effectively to achieve company's goals
- Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
- Understand and try to resolve complex technical and business issues.
- Must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
