JOB PURPOSE:

The Finance Business Partner will stand out as a financial leader within the Operations function, providing a full spectrum of financial reporting, planning, analytical, and project support to the function and its management team. This role will update key stakeholders, financial or operational, and will support the growth and development of both the Operations function and its functional leaders. This is an important, high-profile, and high-impact role, and the candidate must be experienced, highly analytical, resilient, and influential.



KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•       Proactively contribute business and financial insight and hands-on support to the Operations function including models, business cases, proposals or recommendations to reduce and control cost, or enhance performance


•       Take accountability for financial and resource budgeting, reporting, and forecasting across the Operations function – delivering timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports supporting internal and external financial reporting needs


•       Show leadership within the broader finance team on routine matters including hands-on support to the integration of all functions into a Enterprise Resource Planning tool.


•       Contribute strongly to ongoing process and control improvement, standardisation, and re-engineering


•       Other duties and responsibilities as may be identified by the VP Finance/Head of Financial Planning & Analysis as it relates to Finance in a start-up matrix finance structure.



PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

•       Graduate degree in relevant discipline (preferably in finance) with minimum 10 years relevant experience, of which 6 years must be aviation related



ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

•       Fully qualified and professionally accredited accountant (ACMA, GCMA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent)
