Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the complete HW/PCB design cycle including design requirements analysis, conceptual design development, electronic board schematic and layout development using EDA software (mainly Altium/EagleCAD)
- Verify developed designs by carrying out tests using R&D lab instruments including oscilloscope, Logic analyzer, Vector network analyzer, signal generator, and other instruments.
- Develop test plan for hardware products including Design for Testability (DFT)
- Develop PCB functional testing rigs and testing procedures.
- Collaborate with mechanical designer to ensure conformity with mechanical aspects in the related tasks
- Collaborate with PCB manufacturers (local / foreign) and supply chain team.
Job Requirements
Skills and Knowledge
- Solid knowledge about designing power supply circuits including SMPS/BUCK/BOOST/LDO/Battery powered
- Solid knowledge of BOM management
- Solid knowledge of Altium designer
- Knowledge of power measurements is a plus.
- Knowledge of high-speed design rules is a plus.
- Knowledge of RF/Antenna design rules is big plus.
- Good SMD soldering skill is preferred.
- Familiar with serial protocol standards.
- Knowledge of embedded programming is a plus
- knowledge of scripting (Shell/python) is preferred.
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
Education and Experience
- Bsc or Msc in one of the following fields: communication engineering / electrical engineering / computer engineering / mechatronics engineering / Biomedical engineering
- +4 Years of experience in R&D topics: hardware design/manufacturing field.
- Oral and written good skills in English.
