Job Description

  • Implementation of the procurement plan for spare parts for the plant and maintenance management and also for the production supplies of cardboard, nylon and succession.
  • Follow-up of procurement representatives to request quotations according to specifications and quantities, and to carry out the negotiation and procurement processes in an effective manner in terms of price, quality, delivery dates, conditions of payment and service and implementation directly or through others.
  • Supervise procurement representatives in following up supply with suppliers and take appropriate action in the case of changing supply schedules, monitoring the entry of materials received and follow-up closure of open orders and solve problems associated with other departments.
  • Follow-up of procurement representatives to request quotations according to specifications and quantities, and to carry out negotiation and procurement processes in an effective manner in terms of price, quality, delivery dates, payment terms, service and implementation in some cases
  • Participate in updating the status of the upper and lower limit, demand limit and supply period of items in light of consumption rates.
  • Training the personnel working in the procurement department on their work and transferring their expertise to them so that they are qualified to work.
  • Responsible for maintaining all records of quality models for the procurement process and all its work subject to internal audit.
  • Gathering information from the market regarding the material the company deals with and discussing it with the boss.
  • Participate in the search for new suppliers, or alternative materials used by the company.
  • Prepare monthly reports on the status of purchase orders and purchase orders.
  • Adhering to company policies in all internal and external transactions of the company's scope.
  • Edit the register of suppliers and the decisions issued by the Procurement Manager.
  • Submit a weekly report to the Procurement Manager to indicate what has been achieved and what has been postponed with a reason statement. All of the above should be done in accordance with the formal procedure adopted for the Procurement Department.
  • Participate in the evaluation and development of suppliers and solve the problems of suppliers with his direct boss.
  • Perform any other work in the general framework of his / her function when assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Save and recall documents and documents.
  • Deal with computers professionally.
  • Excellent management skills to manage those under the supervision and distribution of work on them.
  • Effective communication skills and communication of information to specialists and non-specialists.
  • Ability to accomplish and perform more than one work in a timely manner to achieve the objectives of management
