Job Description
IT Administrator and Helpdesk is needed for a post-production house, located in Heliopolis
Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
- Talking staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues;
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
- Replacing parts as required;
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
- Working continuously on a task until completion
- Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time;
- Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with staff and other professionals,
- Testing and evaluating new technology;
- Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment;
- Capable of working under pressure.
Working hours
- Due to the nature of the work, you may be expected to work shifts or be on call. It may be necessary to work extra hours to finish a job.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- A bachelor degree in computer science or similar
- Minimum 1 years of experience
- CCNA and MCSA is a plus
- Linux and OS X Operating Systems knowledge is a plus
