Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a comprehensive, cross-channel marketing communications calendar
- Create comprehensive project briefs across content and product marketing initiatives
- Train and manage junior copy-writing staff on the brand voice, while managing the assignment and execution of all writing tasks through the project management platform
- Lead copywriting initiatives across seasonal lookbooks, on-site product pages, consumer-facing emails, social media, and partnership marketing materials
- Adopt and drive the evolution of the brand voice and communications standards, while ensuring consistency of style, tone and quality of all outgoing language
- Collaborate with the Creative Team to maximize the visual impact of copy and marketing concepts in accordance with the terms outlined in the project brief
- Proofread projects for clarity, accuracy, and correct tone of voice, correcting for spelling, grammatical or formatting errors
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Creative and Technology to fulfill project objectives
- Research evolving marketing methodology and channels to maximize content delivery
- Stay current on industry, brand marketing and fashion editorial trends, competitors, and social media developments
- Provide Marketing, E-commerce and Communications support, as needed
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Communications, English, or comparable
- 2-4 years marketing or copy-writing experience in a fashion related environment
- Strong planning, scheduling, and management abilities
- Excellent writing skills, including impeccable spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Ability to conceptualize in a visual environment
- Microsoft Office , proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required
- Ability to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced, deadline-driven startup environment
- Analytical Skills: Marketing specialists look at many streams of data to determine the demographics and buying trends of current and potential customers. Understanding this data will be critical to the job.
- Communication: When gathering and presenting information, marketing specialists need to be able to talk and listen well.
- Critical-Thinking: Being able to process the data in a way to make recommendations takes critical thinking.
