Job Description
- Exciting opportunity for a strong Web Developer with specific experience working with the Drupal CMS. We are looking for a passionate Web / UI Developer to join our team to work on challenging, on-going list of Drupal projects.
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain very valuable experience working with cutting edge web technologies to build new web pages and tools, content management system templates, and streaming video content.
- As a Web Designer you will have graphically strong web design skills, and a good technical understanding of web page creation. In this role you will be involved in the rapid development and enhancement of our projects.
- You will work closely with Senior Designers, Developers and Product Owners, developing ideas into mockups using Photoshop or Fireworks, and ideally you will also be involved in the implementation of HTML and CSS
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing the user interface of our projects with HTML/CSS
- Converting the designs to a proper Drupal templates
- Create mock-ups and web pages
Job Requirements
Required skills & experience:
- Experience in (JavaScript & Angular)
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with browser quirks and workarounds, cross-browser, HTML and CSS
- Knowledge of web standards for web development
- Able to work well independently and within a team
- You are an excellent communicator with a pragmatic and hands-on approach to business
- Confident working with version control systems
- Ability to code hand-crafted HTML
- Expert mastery of cross-browser front-end technologies: HTML and CSS
- Experience with templating systems
- Experience with graphical software (e.g. Photoshop and/or Fireworks)
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in Web / UI Developer of public-facing websites for enterprise organizations
- Previous experience working with the Drupal CMS
- Strong experience with HTML5 / CSS3 and JavaScript
- Knowledge of Browser Standards and skilled in Cross-Browser Testing
- Experience working in a UNIX / Linux Environment
- Experience with PHP or Perl is a plus.
