The Big Picture:
- DigiSay is the biggest MCN (Multi-Channel Network) in Egypt and the 3rd largest in the Middle East. Right now we are transforming ourselves into a digital media company (including: production, marketing and distribution of digital media).
- Our overall objective is to become the the biggest digital media company in the EMEA region by 2021.
Responsibilities:
- Creating Metadata sheets for desired Platform/Application & make sure the content has been delivered to the server successfully.
- Monitoring of live stream settings, Audio & Video, moderating live chat comments.
- Collaborate on development solutions to facilitate live broadcasts of major e-sports and TV channels.
- Troubleshoot and support the servers, applications and configuration of video trans-coding workflow platform.
Job Requirements
- University graduate.
- Exempted from or finished his military service.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Very good in English both written and spoken.
- Familiar with Internet & music applications.
- Good knowledge of Arabic music (new and old).
- Good communicator with attention to detail.
- Minimum 1 year of experience hands-on experience with video encoding hardware and software.
- Experience running live Internet-distributed broadcasts with sizable audiences.
- Good understanding of the entire live streaming architecture from source to playback.
- Highly motivated to learn and stay on‐top of trends, technologies, and their applications in the workflow and deliverables of the content production.
- Must be detailed oriented and maintain high levels of quality control during live streaming.
- PROBLEM SOLVER. You must be comfortable diagnosing broadcast workflow problems on the fly and selecting the right tools to fix the problem.
- Must work well under pressure.
- Background in video entertainment, news or similarly related digital consumer media is preferred.
- Experience with live video streaming and webcasting.
- A thorough understanding of video and audio formats, bitrates and encoding standards for VOD and live streaming
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects).
- Demonstrate an understanding of YouTube / Vuclib / Angamy Live, which are our platforms for content distribution and video players.
- Understanding the computer networking basic fundamentals is essential in a work environment where the Internet is our broadcast platform.
- Understanding of hardware/software digital video encoders for live streaming,
- Familiarity with rtmp addresses and stream names, and encoding settings (size, bitrate, audio, settings, etc.) - Essential Skills.
