Production Engineer (Chemicals)

Our client :

Agent & distributor of chemical material[polyurethane]& ex.. chemical for paints, chemicals for water cooling equipment, shoe soling machines, cutting & injection machines

Responsibilities

• Providing technical guidance to the plant leadership team to ensure processes and equipment are installed, maintained and operated safely, efficiently and reliably to achieve business goals. This position is also responsible for technology documentation, corrective action and minor capital projects initiated by the department. Essential duties include:
• Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for productivity/quality improvements and projects
• Responsible for applying statistical techniques in order to improve, track, investigate quality problems and meet customer requirements.
• Participate as lead operations representative in PHA’s and HAZOP studies
• Responsible for leading investigations and planning corrective action for nonconforming products.
• Responsible for assisting in investigations and planning corrective action with maintenance for equipment problems and bottlenecks. Assisting with annual maintenance shutdown.
• Responsible for maintaining data necessary to measure plant capacities. Areas of focus include production history, safety, quality, material inventories, maintenance, trouble reporting and training.
• Conducts a regular search of new materials, process, and procedures to enhance and improve the process, implement cost reduction, quality, and manufacturing cost.
• Follows PSM program requirements for implementation of process, product, raw material and equipment changes.
