Job Description
- Ensure architecture consistency across all Infrastructure and hosting product portfolio
- Assist with developing long-term strategies for scaling the technical infrastructure in the areas of data centers, servers, and storage.
- Implementation of new client environment solutions by maintaining capacity, installation of new hardware, and provisioning of applications
- Maintain Documentation of current internal and client-hosted infrastructure
- Experience with Microsoft-specific technologies such, DHCP server, Remote Apps, and distributed remote desktop, IIS, Exchange, SQL Server, Windows Server management tools. Windows 2016/2019 Operating Systems.
- Strong Operational knowledge of Active Directory including designing forests, group policies, federation, and one-way trusts. DNS, DHCP, DFS
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure as well as the services they provide for Orchestration, Logging, Monitoring, and File Storage
Installing and Configuring the Hyper-V Server Role - Creating and Managing Virtual Hard Disks, Virtual Machines, and Checkpoints
- Creating and Configuring Virtual Machine Networks Virtual Machine Movement and Hyper-V Replica
- Implementing Failover Clustering with Hyper-V
Job Requirements
- Experience with at Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization technology
- 5 yrs+ Hyper V and VMware ESXi management, installation, and configuration (VMotion, DRS, HA, P2V)
- Good analytical and root cause analysis skills
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as OSI Model, packet architecture, security, authentication
- Demonstrable experience with supporting the hypervisors' bare-metal server.
- Help maintain 99.999% availability for all Intermedia Service
