Financial Accountant/ Analyst

• Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
• Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.
• Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
• Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
• Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
• Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting information that helps when preparing statements
• Utilizing ACC. Control procedures for AR ,AP, fixed Assets & Financial reports
• Responsible for company’s treasury
• Recording all sales/daily transactions
• Tracking collections From customers
• Prepare Bank reconciliation
• Control Cash in /Cash out
• Using Cost benefit relationship principle

Job Summary

• Assisting in the month end analysis and forecasting analysis for our client's manufacturing facility
• Reviewing price variances, spending, program financial versus targets, preparing account reconciliations.
• Will also support cost accounting activities such as annual standard costing, change requests and other cost accounting reviews.
• Will be integral to the physical inventory process and long range planning for the organization
• Handle various closing activities such as journal entries
• The Financial Analyst/Cost Accountant is a direct hire role
