Job Summary
We are looking for Senior PHP Developer who will work with lead developers to design and implement new features and functionality, ensure high performance and availability, select and implement wide range of Drupal modules, extend existing or write new modules from scratch using best practices techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high performance portals using PHP/MySQL.
- Design and implement new features and functionality to new or existing Drupal portal.
- Ensure performance and high availability of Drupal portal.
- Select and implement wide range of Drupal modules.
- Extend or write Drupal modules from scratch.
- Work closely with front-end developers and customer to ensure high quality user experience and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- 5 years professional experience developing enterprise web applications with object oriented PHP, JavaScript and appropriate frameworks/libraries
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- 4 years’ experience developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations in a LAMP environment, with at least 1-year experience with Drupal 8
- Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture
- Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels and core internal APIs
- Experience creating custom Drupal modules and the judgment to know when customization is the right solution
- Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery with preference given to candidates with vue.js, angular 2, handlebars and twig experience
- Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer and engine
- Proficient with service-oriented architecture and integrating front-end functionality with multiple public and private RESTful APIs and integration points
- Experience with responsive web approach / framework / architecture / and styleguide-driven development
- Experience building large scale, high-performance systems in a complex, multi-tiered, distributed environment
- Understanding of enterprise caching systems and the complexities of delivering personalized experiences in high-traffic environments with multiple caching layers
- Accustomed to working with enterprise architect teams to strategize and determine best technologies and design patterns
- Passion for performance debugging, profiling and benchmarking
- Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile (scrum/kanban/Lean) and XD SDLCs
- Experience with complex version control, shared coding standards and collaborative design patterns of an enterprise environments spanning local and remote teams in multiple time zones
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Strong background in the fundamentals of software development and have a deep understanding of best practices in various languages/technologies.
