Job Description:
- Assisting in the month end analysis and forecasting analysis for our client's manufacturing facility
- Reviewing price variances, spending, program financials versus targets, preparing account reconciliations.
- Will also support cost accounting activities such as annual standard costing, change requests and other cost accounting reviews.
- Will be integral to the physical inventory process and long range planning for the organization
- Handle various closing activities such as journal entries
- The Financial Analyst/Cost Accountant is a direct hire role
Job Requirements
The ideal Financial Analyst/Cost Accountant will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Experience with MRP systems, such as Oracle, JDE, or SAP a huge plus
- Cost accounting knowledge/experience required of at least 1 -3 years
- Strong experience in Microsoft products such as Excel, Powerpoint, Word
- Ability to work across the organization with many departments to achieve company objectives
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
