Job Description
- Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems software and related infrastructure cloud environment based on AWS
- He will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the Cloud System
- Participate in software and system performance analysis and tuning, service capacity planning and demand forecasting.
- Evaluate, respond to, and resolve service issues; design tools and automation to prevent problem recurrence.
- Design systems monitoring and management solutions using automation and self-repair rather than relying on alerts and human intervention.
- Suggest enhancements and escalation concerns appropriately to diagnose and remediate underlying system problems and inefficiencies.
- Work closely with the development team to support requirements and release schedule.
- Ensure version and change control procedure adherence.
- Database administration, maintenance and backup.
- Manage Web apps deployment and updates.
- Manage security-related aspects of the infrastructure.
- Participate on a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Job Requirements
- Linux Experience is a must
- AWS (EC2, S3, API/CLI, VPC, IAM, ElastiCache).
- Ubuntu Server administration.
- Shell scripting and automation of routine tasks.
- Database administration (MongoDB and MySQL).
- Webserver management (Apache and Tomcat).
- Clustering experience is a plus.
- Load Balancing experience is a plus.
- Windows Server administration is a plus.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator is a plus.
- Firewall, WAF, IPS, IDS experience.
