Job Description
- To be effective and accurate in laboratory analyses, monitoring all assigned analysis on time and to schedule.
- Liaises with the shift Manager to ensure effective application and interpretation of laboratory data.
- Undertakes routine sampling, analyses, inspections and information collection for plastics, process, utilities, finished products, using available laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Works safely and effectively ensuring compliance with all safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures and practices.
- Taking the necessary corrective actions in order to achieve the quality standards.
- Works as directed by the quality section head for corrective actions and additional assignments.
- Logs analysis and other relevant data on the laboratory’s data system, accurately and on time, to be used by process staff and other personnel.
- Taking action in case of nonconforming products in accordance to the procedure and advises technicians of type of defects.
- Assist in inspecting the returned products and quarantine the non-conforming products for further action and in accordance to procedure.
- Inspect products purchased by their company from suppliers and maintain records of supplier performance.
- Interact with suppliers to ensure quality of all purchased items.
- Informs the QC Head of variation from specification or normal operational parameters that might affect technical performance and quality.
- Ensuring that the OHSAS-EMS is properly implemented and that OHSAS-EMS matters are properly handled at all stages.
- Execute the quality Management system and follow up it to comply with the ISO 9001:2008.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Chemistry or related science disciplines.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English
- Intermediate level MS Office
