Job Description

  • Financial Reporting – To provide timely and accurate financial and operational information to management for effective decision making.
  • Accounting - general ledger maintenance, preparation of P&L and balance sheet, cash flow statement.
  • Preparation of monthly information system (MIS) reports (both operational and financial).
  • Policies and Procedures – Ensuring compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Drafting of policies and procedures for the company (both operational and financial.
  • Implementation of policies and procedures and ensuring concurrent compliance.
  • Legal Management and compliance to statutory. requirements – Ensuring operations with minimum legal or statutory risk.
  • Catering to company’s legal requirements.
  • Liaison with external or corporate lawyers to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Effective credit risk management – Ensuring no bad debts for the company.
  • Ensure credit risk management including policies and procedures, controlling limits, payment terms etc.
  • Liaison with external parties such as credit insurance to secure the credit extended to customers.
  • Ensuring proper due diligence on customers.
  • Treasury operations – Optimal use of funds with minimal cost.
  • Effective utilization of shareholders’ funds.
  • Liaise with bankers or financial institutions for timely funding.
  • Liaison with banks for day to day operations.
  • Managing working capital and optimizing cost of funds.
  • IT Management – Business continuity through IT. Management ensuring cost, speed and quality at all times.
  • Liaising with Corporate IT and external parties for reliable IT support.
  • Ensuring availability of information to all stakeholders at minimum cost, high speed and maximum quality.
  • Encouraging digital format of information to ensure minimum paper based documentation.

Job Requirements

  • High Degree in Commerce.
  • 3-4 years experience (preferable) in the field of Accounting.
  • Strong leading, precise, ambitious and dedicated to work.
  • Flexible team-player and supportive to them at all times.
  • Fluent English language is must.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Living near Ard El Golf is preferable (Heliopolis, Nasr City, Sheraton, Nozha…etc.).
