Job Description

Media Republic is looking for an Associate Creative Director. This position works closely with the agency’s Creative Director and Account Servicing to ideate and execute 360° campaigns. The ACD will be responsible for leading conceptual development and ideation process and must be adept at both creative ideas and execution, directing the creative teams in the execution of projects, creative team management and mentorship, client relations and quality assurance across all creative deliverables.

Responsibilities include receiving client briefs, presenting agency work, and effectively implementing feedback. The ACD is a collaborator, an innovator, a facilitator, a visual communicator and inspires our team from the excitement of the preliminary big idea through to the challenges of the small details in the final execution.

Your Role Includes:

  • Leading a collaborative team of art directors, copywriters, graphic designers, videographers, video editors, production specialists, illustrators and photographers.
  • Developing creative solutions and innovations that meet our client’s needs and elevate Media Republic’s profile.
  • Promoting a culture of creative quality and accountability and ensure Media Republic’s creative deliverables meet both our clients’ expectations and our own standards of excellence.
  • Collaborating with Client Servicing to understand the client’s strategies and implement it during the creative process.
  • Effectively communicating creative concepts and strategies to both clients and our internal team.
  • Managing the member’s of the creative team’s individual performance, skills, training and development.
  • Developing, and implementing monitor quality standards across all creative department deliverables.
  • Identifying projects that are not coming together as planned, and determine approach and dictate course correction.

Job Requirements

Requirements Include:

  • A strong design portfolio with 5+ years visual communication, print and digital work experience, including strong art direction.
  • A passion for design, creativity, art, technology and a desire to stay on the edge of market trends.
  • Possessing effective and charismatic client communication and presentation skills.
  • A deep understanding of advertising and a desire to stay abreast of the industry’s newest trends.
  • Experience facilitating strategic and creative brainstorming sessions, creative brief development and directing creative execution.
  • Being a highly conceptual team leader who is constructive, collaborative, smart and committed to a vision while being open to ideas from the team.
  • A strong collaborative nature with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Ability to work under deadlines, think creatively against budget demands, and stay focused simultaneously on the big picture and the smallest details.
  • Leadership skills with experience directing diverse team.
  • Strong organizational abilities, including time and resource management.
