R&D Director

Default Instructor Responsibilities

• Research and Development of Science sessions and shows.
• Nutty Scientists programs and camps related activities (example: treasure
• hunts, CSIs, games, videos, etc.).
• Nutty Scientists special projects (science competitions, Sciencelicious DVDs,
• etc).
• All the above include carrying out scientific experiments and project samples
• as part of the R & D phase.
• Documentation of every finalized and approved output according to the Nutty
• Scientists Documentation standards.
• Performance of Nutty Scientists shows/ sessions in field trips, birthday parties,
• programs, videos, camps, in-school visits, and special events (example: marketing events, festivals, family events, charity events, etc).
• Taking roles in Nutty Scientists science stations.
• Engaging in material preparation of sessions and shows.
• Engaging in rehearsals and training whenever scheduled.

Special Responsibilities of Research and Development Director

• Developing and maintaining a database of topics and program ideas.
• Managing the R&D of new programs, camps and shows
• Selecting new topics that are suitable for target age groups.
• Assigning topics to instructors.
• Training and supervising instructors on how to research and develop
• according to Nutty Scientists Standards.
• Giving feedbacks on delivered outputs to ensure quality control
• Receiving feedbacks regarding sessions after delivery and carry out adjustments and/or developments according to feedback.
• Reporting to Managing Director.
• Advising Operations Director in creating weekly tasks.
• Coordinating with Business Development director to engage R&D resources in developing new Nutty Scientists products/projects.
