Job Description
- Responsible of local / foreign purchases.
- Establish, maintains & develop required vendors’ relations.
- Check requisitions for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
- Obtain best prices, delivery terms & payment terms for the required products.
- Create, review and get approvals of purchase orders to vendors.
- Maintain purchase orders records.
- Orders’ tracking to ensure accurate & on time delivery.
- Monitor & coordinate logistic processes to ensure proper shipments delivery.
- Collaborate with accounting department to ensure timely financial obligations.
- Negotiate pricing, maximize profit margin, and minimize fees.
- Minimize risk by ensuring alternative sources of supply.
- Support the organization through activities focused on sourcing and cost reduction.
- Developing supplier alliances and implementing process improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree
- 2-5 years Experience in the field of logistics or supply chain .
- Excellent command of English reading and writing .
- Very good command of word and Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and tight situations.
