Job Description
Technical Sales Engineer with 2-3 years’ experience in engineering sales to provide pre- and post-sales technical advice and support about products. They are often the key point of contact for clients, answering queries, providing technical advice and introducing new products.
Market sectors:
Oil & Gas, Refinery & Petrochemical, Offshore & Marine.
Type of equipment sold:
- Rotating equipment ( Pumps, Turbines, compressors).
- Thermal equipment ( heaters, Boilers, Heat exchangers).
- Static equipment ( Pipes, Valves)
- Marine equipment ( Boats, dredging, diving)
- Water Treatments Packages
Job Responsibilities:
- Identifying and establishing new business
- Organizing sales visits
- Liaising with existing clients
- Providing pre-sales and after-sales support
- Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
- Reviewing cost and sales performance
- Writing reports and sales literature
- Providing product education and advice
- Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
- Ensuring that sales targets are met
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience: From 1 to 3 years in Engineering Sales
- Giza or 6 October Citizens
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- Previous relevant experience gained in any commercial/sales area involving contact with customers or the general public is essential.
