Job Description

Senior Sales Engineer with 3-5 years’ experience in engineering sales to provide pre- and post-sales technical advice and support about products. They are often the key point of contact for clients, answering queries, providing technical advice and introducing new products.

Market sectors:

Oil & Gas, Refinery & Petrochemical, Offshore & Marine.

Type of equipment sold:

  • Rotating equipment ( Pumps, Turbines, compressors).
  • Thermal equipment ( heaters, Boilers, Heat exchangers).
  • Static equipment ( Pipes, Valves)
  • Marine equipment ( Boats, dredging, diving)
  • Water Treatments Packages

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and establishing new business
  • Organizing sales visits
  • Liaising with existing clients
  • Providing pre-sales and after-sales support
  • Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
  • Reviewing cost and sales performance
  • Writing reports and sales literature
  • Providing product education and advice
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
  • Ensuring that sales targets are met

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years in Engineering Sales
  • Giza or 6 October Citizens
  • Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Previous relevant experience gained in any commercial/sales area involving contact with customers or the general public is essential.
