Job Description
- Performing pre-formulation & formulation trials for the new products or products under redevelopment.
- Performing material and finished product specifications and contact with supply chain department to ensure the specifications required.
- Review active material and quality files with suppliers
- Processing all lab tests required for the new formulations and follow up all the physical and chemical testing.
- Participating in transforming R&D product development efforts into scalable manufacturing process and robust and quality products.
- Preparing all the documentations of new formulation file.
- Carry out experimental trials and validation methods for the analysis and quality control of products, and raw materials.
- Assist in scaling up of new and development products via plant trials, making changes to raw materials or components and process parameters to ensure that targeted product quality is maintained during large -scale production.
- Reviews and approves Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for all procedures related to the control systems and laboratory experiments and analysis and sets the specifications required to achieve this objective and get the approval of senior management.
- Supervises the executions of control plans according to the procedures in order to make sure of the proper use of precise standard devices and that the workplace and employees conduct and their machines are all compatible with the requirements of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and in a way that guarantee the production of secure and proper medicine according to the approved specifications;
- Executes the control systems in a way that guarantees the application of scientific and technological measurements to assure the properness of medicine, and makes performance reports and the problems of application and the solutions and submit them to the management;
- Sets plans for scientific researches in cooperation with the administrations concerned with organizational and technical affairs, marketing, production, and supply chain.
- Submits results to the direct manager and senior management, executes recommendations of them, prepares a statement of installment, publications, samples, and prepares the first three experimental operations of new products, and follow stability to complete registration requirements;
- Studies, reviews, and corrects the research results in case of any deflection, coordinates with the production managers to solve the problems that may arise during work, keeps the samples in appropriate conditions to refer to when needed;
- Checks results of stability for all existing, new, and under-registration products, carries out experiments to study materials that come from the new resources, assures its validity and stability in a way that guarantees the production of secure and proper medicine according to the approved specifications;
- Follows product development laboratory’s activity using the new resources of materials, assures the execution steps, and submits results to the management supported with notices and recommendations;
- Follows all possible methods and do his best efforts to be in compliant with the direction of resources and reduce the expenses in an effective and right manner to reach to a good product with an economic technique and with coordination with the other concerned departments;
- Follows and studies the global scientific developments and the extent to which these developments could be used in the different scientific fields related to the Company’s products in order to develop research methods and advance the development of marketing and manufacturing at the Company.
Job Requirements
