Job Description
- We are seeking a Web Designer to work closely with our marketing team to continuously manage our online presence and create effective tools for interaction.
- The candidate will work regularly with management to design, refine, and implement digital marketing tools for the website, also the candidate will be responsible for managing the website.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Carrying design and web projects from concept to completion while adhering to the brand standards
- Ensuring the coding standards are met; optimizing the web architectures for navigability and accessibility, and ensuring the website and databases are being backed up
- Conceptualizing creative ideas and Design and layout of electronic materials for the company's marketing campaigns and the social media pages, which are compliant with the company's brand strategy
- Testing and improving the design of the website.
- Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
- Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards, as well as, adding and improving design and interactive features, as well as the website's features
- Working with different content management systems.
- Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
- Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
- Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
- Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Proven track of web design
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
- Experience in e-commerce retailing is a plus
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient with HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, MySQL
- Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
- Awareness of UI/UX and optimization principles
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Creative and open to new ideas.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and project management skills
- Deep understanding of digital marketing and digital production.
- Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business.
