Job Description
- Installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults troubleshooting for all IT devices, telephony network issues, attendance machines, public address, projectors, access door devices.
- IT stock control and purchasing requests Recording daily stock transactions, low level stock in hardware or supplies, prepare purchasing orders.
- Recording asset history, cost of external maintenance and spare parts and holds proactive maintenance reports, recording documents for assets in personal custody
- Branches weekly visits for troubleshooting, support and availability of supplies
- Creating and updating users, groups privileges on local domain and google hosted services.
- Backup any data on servers or machines or returned devices from user.
Job Requirements
Good knowledge and experience in the following:
- Wired and wireless networking and Cisco devices (CCNA certified)
- Windows server OS and MS applications (MCSA certified)
- Hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Virtualization and Cloud computing.
- Telephony, surveillance and public address systems.
- Google G Suite administration and Sophos firewalls is preferred.
Further educational qualifications:
- A+
- Network+
- MCSA
- CCNA
Other requirements:
- Commitment to branch visits, no short in branch supplies
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work under stress.
- Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- An ability to stick to strict deadlines
- Data must be 100% preserved, organized and ready to be shared at any time
- No missing in records or delay in proactive maintenance schedules
