Job Description
- Assist in the development of bid solicitation documents including RFP and RFSO documents.
- Provide strategic advice, options and recommendations related to Canwell’s contracting policy, rules and directives
- Preparation of realistic procurement plans and Development of a procurement strategy for acquisition of goods or services
- Provide recommendations for contract management against established goals, objectives and milestones
- Identification of procurement needs at the project development stage
- Working with concerned stakeholders on procurement needs, providing technical support on specifications, cost implications and logistics for safe delivery both externally and internally;
- Finalizing specifications and preparing shortlists based on needs and investigation of related market, identify suitable vendors with due consideration to price, quality, delivery time, warranty and after sale servicing where applicable
- Establishment of Long Term Agreements and/or service contracts as an when necessary either through standard or emergency procurement procedures in compliance with the Procurement Policy
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or Supply Chain
- PowerPoint & Excel Proficiency
- Good command of English language
- Excellent communication skills
- Adheres to deadlines & punctuality
- Willingness to work on the move (50% market survey)
- Excellent reporting, interpersonal and team working skills required
- Experience in e-procurement is an asset
- Experience in Supply Chain Management is desirable
