Job Description
- Applies internal controls and accounting policies & procedures for inventory across the organization
- Manages invoice mailbox daily and handles internal and external communications
- Ensures recording of accurate standard costs
- Review and resolve issues with inventory transfer orders between locations.
- Prepares all Inter IKEA reporting requirements for Inventory
- Reconciles GLs VS Sub-ledgers for inventory
- Prepares inventory cost analysis reports
- Prepares inventory concrete report
- Prepares monthly reconciliation of accounts with 3PL (including FLOW)
- Participates in ongoing drive for simplification & automation
- Ensures timely completion of month-end reporting tasks related to inventory, costing and related suppliers and raises red flags for any irregularities
- Assists in periodic audits.
- Handles other ad hoc tasks within finance when required
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Commerce/Finance
Experience:
- 2-5 years’ experience in accounting function
Specific Designations, Certifications, Licenses
- Certified Management Accountant - Preferable
