Job Description
We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Working with our current development team to build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules, new features and new products.
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
- Designing software based on requirements, but self-managing the project
- Troubleshooting the cause of bugs and implementing a solution when needed
- Participating in standup and product meetings, providing input and suggestions
- Continually looking for ways to improve or optimize our products
- Occasionally leading or mentoring other team members
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Follow defined software development processes and meet release deadlines
- Implement innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
Job Requirements
The Ideal Candidate Would Have:
- BS Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SASS skills.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programing.
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience developing API’s would be awesome.
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programing.

- Experience with MVC architecture.
- Understanding of AJAX, JSON, XML.
- Knowledge of networking protocols.
- UI & UX experience is Preferred
- Knowledge of Mobile application development is a distinct advantage.
