Job Description
- Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
- Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project creation requirements
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
- Define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
- Lead the planning product release plans and set an expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals
- Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
- Follow our competitors and the industry’s news and trends
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
- Manage the product from a business and technical aspects
- Perform UAT during the sprint
- Review the sprint deliverables and the daily status of a sprint
- Review scope of work with PM & BA, approve final wireframes & UI and write User Stories
- Manage the product backlog and its prioritization
- Prepare monthly report for the product status for the Technical Director
- Analyze the requirements given by the PM and BA
- Prepare Use Cases, User Stories, initial wireframes, UMLs, workflow diagrams, and SRS documents
- Work closely with PM and other POs
- Communicate with the Technical Writer for any required documentation.
Job Requirements
- +5 years of experience in developing and technical systems in an Agile environment.
- +2 years of experience in EMR/HIS.
- MA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of the Agile process and principles.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with Jira project management tools.
- Ability to transform business requirements into technical requirements.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Creative thinker with a vision.
- Attention to detail.
