Job Description
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications; including windows, Linux and Mac OS
- Installing, Configuring, and Administering Servers AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, TMG, MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Web Server (IIS, Apache).
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users
- Troubleshoot and solve any problem could happen in any equipment
- Replacing parts as required.
- Performing the regular backup for all network devices
- Planning for backup and recovery of data base information with Microsoft DPM, Symantec Backup Exec and Acronis Backup
- Testing and evaluating new technology
- Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
- Implementing software deployments at clients’ sites for one of two software solutions:
- NetSupport Software modules
- WhatsApp Gold from Ipswitch
Job Requirements
- Basic Knowledge with a scripting language (PowerShell & VBscript)
- Understanding of OSI layer model, TCP/IP protocols, subletting and related protocols such as DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, POP3, SNMP and more.
- Familiar with High Availability Solutions Based on Microsoft NLB and Failover Clustering
- Good command of English.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well in a team
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
