Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance / A Test Automation Specialist to develop, maintain and execute GTC’s product and software testing procedures. The Software Tester testers should acquire a minimum knowledge of SQL to become the “all around,” versatile tester that clients need and value.
Responsibilities:
- Recognize the different types of databases
- Connect to the database using different SQL connection clients
- Understand the relationship between database tables, keys, and indices
- Write a simple select or SQL statement along with more complex join queries
- Interpret more complex queries
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related degree (or equivalent experience in software engineering)
- Strong organizational and time management skills/Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with scripting and automation.
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience with digital media distribution
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
- Experience in web application environment.
- Experience .NET
- Experience in Devexpress is a plus.
- Experience with SQL Server & Oracle is a plus.
- Qualified candidates will have 2+ years' experience
- Previous software testing experience.
- Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for diagnostic purposes.
- Experience in creating test cases and plans.
- Strong problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
- Self-motivation, a desire to learn how things work, and the dedication to master challenges.
- Ability to operate autonomously with general supervision.
