Job Description
- Analyzing problems and coming up with designs to solve them.
- Networking and collaborating with other engineers and professionals.
- Allocating resources and time effectively.
- Developing design prototypes.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attending meetings and providing input and updates.
- Analyzing data to write up reports.
- Assisting with recruitment, training, and onboarding.
- Communicating with staff, directors, and clients.
- Comply with company policies, technical procedures and standards for preserving the integrity and security of data, reports and access.
- Analyze business needs and technical requirements, design and build the solution.
- Review design layouts, perform well-prepared project documentation and ensure consistent construction and testing on stated timelines.
- Maintain design and detail drawing files and records.
- Quality control checks for individual parts, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies.
- Create assembly procedures and commission documents, and test fixtures to incorporate into training programs.
- Improve manufacturing processes and methods for quality and efficiency. In parallel, reduce overall manufacturing build time and costs as well.
- Ensuring foolproof performance of the deliverables and submit them in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with local and geographically disbursed management for input, support, and development.
- Keep informed of new professional methodologies and developments that affect the industry and recommend new practices or changes in programs or applications.
- Communicate project progress with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating with co-developers and other related departments.
- Leading and maintaining regular project status updates adhering to agreed timelines. In addition, present technical data to audiences with non-technical backgrounds.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Mechanical engineering
- 7+ yrs. in technical office in construction companies.
- Computer skills (2D - AutoCAD drawing - Revit Mechanical Modeling).
- Technical Skills and Knowledge (Plumping design - Landscape and general drainage - HVAC design - Elevators basic knowledge).
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to design "Only knowledge".
- Must be a permanent resident of Greater Cairo.
