Senior System Admin Specialist

Job Description:

• Re-engineer B.Tech’s systems setup to provide systems’ reliability and availability (averaging 99% up-time).
• Establish automated server generation routines.
• Optimize system performance to respond to security or usability concerns.
• Upgrade and configure system software for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
• Maintain security protocols to identify any possible intrusions.
• Ensure that all server hardware, operating systems, software and procedures aligned with organizational standards and strategic business plan.
• Create backup Schedule to ensure all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media
• Troubleshoot advanced network/systems issues reported by users to ensure providing excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Increase team productivity and automated repetitive tasks by using batch files, PowerShell, VBScript and WMI.
• Train employees across multiple departments on network operations including log-in procedures, network management software, permissions, printing issues, security and use of software.
