Job Description
- Supporting an online portals based on cloud hosting and high user engagement with contents as well as e-learning system. Portal is used for Distance Learning Education and is integrated with Cisco’s Webex via API System is built on CakePhp framework.
- You will work remotely with limited supervision and you can work from home or from our office in Cairo. We prefer you work from home. You must be willing to work independently and follow daily task assignments. We measure progress by tasks accomplished not by hours spent.
- You will have to be flexible with your time.
- You will work with a team based in the US, Dubai, India, and China.
- We are going to transition lots of the development responsibilities to you. So you must be comfortable in what you are doing.
- You might have to work U.S. EST hours on some projects.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience developing cloud-hosted, responsive, web applications
- Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP , bootstrap, API's and CakePHP. Git
- CakePHP expertise is a Must.
- Experience work with MySQL databases.
- Experience working on Linux servers / Centos 6
- Thorough knowledge and hands on experience with web micro-services and RESTful APIs
- Experience with WordPress or similar tools.
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Basecamp or similar
- Experience with Git
- English Communication Skills.
