About the Job

Oversee & Supervise the implementation of the production plan
Ensure optimized production.
Supervise and direct the technical personnel responsible for every stage of production to ensure manufacture of high quality and cost effective product.
Oversee the planning and organization of a production process and ensure availability of necessary material, equipment, and labor resources required for a project.
Prepare cost estimates and budget required for a manufacturing proposal.
Conduct inspections to ensure production machinery are operational and efficient.
Facilitate maintenance, repair or replacement of damaged equipment..
Ensure production complies with established quality control specifications and standards.
Monitoring and supervising the activities of production personnel to ensure effective performance of job duties.
Manufacturing operations managers delegate and assign work schedules and tasks to technical employees.
Implement action plans to ensure a cost-effective and high quality production.
Liaise with other departmental heads such as the QA manager and packaging supervisor to ensure finished products are of the best quality.
Ensure manufacturing and production personnel comply with set health and safety policies when carrying out job duties.
Motivate a manufacturing team to achieve set objectives and target by setting up rewards for an achievement.
Organize training programs to enhance personnel job skill and knowledge.
Produce reports of manufacturing operations which they present to company management to update them on expended resources.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical – Electrical Engineering Or Production business Management or Bachelor’s degree in specialized disciplines specific to an industry.
Technical Skills:Technical, project management, and organizational operating skills, production planning figures,
Project Management Skills: Able to handle a manufacturing process to ensure timely and cost-effective production
Organizational Skills: Adept at coordinating the different stages of manufacture to ensure seamless operations
Planning Skills: able to design, achieve and implement a good production plan and do the necessary follow up to achieve it.
Management Skills: Able to implement different ways of managing people through a good performance management system; and evaluate, motivate his subordinates.
Energetic and self starter.
5+ Years of experience in the same field.
Good command of English Language and familiar with ERP system and PC's software.
