Job Description
- Write consistently effective and engaging copy across a variety of digital channels – emails, landing pages, direct response advertising, on-site content, social media, sales pages and advertorials
- Work in close collaboration with clients and agency partners to creatively solve business challenges through marketing communications and copy that converts
- Lead brainstorming sessions to ideate content campaigns that attract traffic, build audience and gain customers
- Write strategic creative / copy briefs for content and performance marketing campaigns
- Creating high-quality, original content yourself alongside managing a content executive, freelancers and external writing teams
- Analyze competitors in the industry to identify their strengths and weaknesses in the marketplace from a brand and messaging point of view and present findings
- Assist with client communication and attend client meetings
Job Requirements
- Knowledgeable and experienced in copy-writing for direct response marketing, CRO, SEO, content marketing and email channels
- A versatile and creative wordsmith with excellent strategic, writing and editing skills
- Ability to define and write to a tone of voice, and to ensure appropriate TOV guidelines are adhered to in others’ writing
- Highly organized, details oriented, and able to work to and manage deadlines
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
- Experience in an agency environment working across multiple clients
- Growth mindset: self-motivated and proactive, with a desire to learn new skills
- Experience within an entrepreneurial, high-growth business a plus
- Financial services writing experience
