Setio is a mobile application designed to help busy parents living in Egypt to find nearby, trained, well-educated and legally verified babysitters to sit their kids from 2 hours to full day, whenever they need to.
Setio owned and managed by The Application Lab, a startup based in Nasrcity, Cairo. started in Dec 2016, we’re Digital Innovative Products Developers, with high level of passion in technology & marketing.
We’re looking for a Qualified PHP Developer with high level of creativity, passion and hard working to be part of our team..
He/She will be responsible for:
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
- Developing the REST API for the mobile app.
- Design and implementation of the database.
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implementation of security and data protection.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably computer science or engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Software development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks, specially Laravel.
- Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP.
- Understanding of MVC design patterns.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming.
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiar with agile principles is a plus.
