Job Description

An Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) Executive contributes to the growth of the online business of an organization. The individual is responsible for enhancing the customer experience, executing customer order fulfillment, and maintaining the technology and infrastructure. This role also involves analyzing data from market and consumer studies to generate commercial insights, managing relationships with partners and ensuring seamless end-to-end integration of the e-commerce business. Working in a fast-paced, digitally-centric environment, this person should be an energetic, collaborative and results-oriented self-starter who is technologically savvy, organized and able to operate well in a team under pressure.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate order processing, delivery and returns of customer orders
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on execution of brand, marketing and e-commerce activities
  • Execute activities driven by data analytics
  • Implement e-commerce activities
  • Manage operations for service excellence
  • Manage service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and maintain smooth functionality of website
  • Monitor fulfillment of customers' orders via store pick or delivery service
  • Monitor sales, promotions, marketing and social media programs, and activities over digital platforms
  • Operate and maintain existing IT infrastructure and networks based on standard operations procedures
  • Prepare insights report on data mining outcome
  • Provide specialized knowledge and insights on the development of technology strategy and road-map
  • Track and report business outcome of data-driven insights
  • Manage our online inventory
  • Processing orders through the online shop including contacting customers if required.
  • Ensuring we keep detailed records of what we have available and ensuring the online shop is up to date with this.
  • Ordering new stock- checking trends and past orders to understand best time to order new stock.
  • Dealing with any customer inquiries related to products.
  • Supporting with the processing of documenting expenses and keeping clear accounting records
  • Assisting with  social media team , warehouse team &  general administration including answering emails and calls, processing paperwork, keeping clear records and files.
  • Monitor changes in website traffic or increases in sales
  • Assist with forming our company’s overall digital marketing strategy

Job Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing (preferred)
  • Experience managing digital product inventory
  • Experience using web analytics and optimization tools
  • Analytical skills
  • Communication skills
