Generate cost control reports for specific items in the company’s projects and reporting
Analyzes and costs manufacturing work orders following the company’s costing system.
Prepares the monthly cost of sales figures by analyzing material, labor, and expenses.
Analyzes variances from cost estimates.
Prepare, examine, and analyze monthly cost statements for every profit/cost center.
Conduct periodic cost studies to develop the standard cost of products manufactured.
Apply cost accounting principles to provide detailed cost information not supplied by the general accounting systems.
Prepares periodical information and reports about the profitability of each Profit/Cost center
Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests
Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
Enter and upload invoices into system
Track expenses and process expense reports
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
Prepare and perform check runs
Reconcile accounts payable transactions
Prepare analysis of accounts
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
Maintain vendor files
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
Produce monthly reports
Assist with month end closing
Provide supporting documentation for audits
