Job Description
We are seeking passionate and creative Tech. Lead to join our talented team in FriendyCar, the first and leading marketplace for renting and lending cars serving the Middle East.
Responsibility:
- Partner with Product Owner to improve business analysis and Engineering’s understanding of what needs to be built.
- Bring together a full-stack team and integrate the work between them (Backend, Frontend, Android, iOS).
- Continually improve the SDLC and development processes.
- Monitor and support development tasks until delivery.
- Maintain and upgrade the used technologies and frameworks as needed and enhance the overall performance.
- Develop complex tasks if needed.
- Monitor and maintain production infrastructure.
- Deploy manually the projects on the servers, and if you want to apply CI/CD it is your call.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Deep knowledge about PHP (Symfony) and its best practices.
- Good knowledge about Mysql, Nginx, NoSql, RESTful API, Angular.
- Good knowledge about software security.
- Good Server Administration skills.
- Good knowledge about AWS.
- Basic knowledge about Docker and Docker Compose.
- The experience building complex, scalable systems with high availability.
- Experience using open source technologies.
- Excellent mentoring skills.
- Excellent debugging skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or relevant is preferred.
