Job Description
We are looking for a talented and qualified general accountant for our dental center. It is very important to us that you understand how our billing cycle works through our dental office management software, so expect to be among your duties to interact with our clients on a day-to-day basis. All of our operations are done by our software, from scheduling, booking, and payments. Day to day activities will include the following:
- Scheduling, following up on clients' appointments.
- Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
- Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments delayed payments and other irregularities.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Generate age analysis.
- Review AR aging to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
- Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc.
- Process credit card payments.
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Process adjustments.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail, or personally.
- Assist with shift-end closing.
- Assist with month-end closing.
- Prepare weekly & monthly reports.
- Excellent knowledge of financial statements & application
Job Requirements
- Bs in Accounting, with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Very good knowledge of English
- Split shift will be needed from 12-4 pm. and from 8 pm-12 am (Males only)
- Residents of 6th October and Sheikh Zayed or nearby areas only will be considered
