KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sustains the growth of company’s business:
- Establishing new business relationships within the industry
- Acquiring and executing ideas for new operational arrangements
- Evaluating the business ideas according to the company criteria
- Carrying out the supporting market studies
- Defining the scope of the project
- Calculating sales prices in accordance with company rules for profitability
- Negotiating and concluding company agreements, partnership relations, sales deals
- Oversees Customer Relations Management
- Implements effective key account management
- Monitors and updates KPIs – KRAs
- Identifies decision makers at the major accounts for sales, partnership and supply purposes
- Cultivates the relationship with the major accounts sales, partnership and supply purposes
- Ensures flawless flow of communication
- Assures proper administration of recruitment, outsourcing and supply processes
- New product pipelines of the major potential and existing customers
- Draw and update industry map, to conclude best practices for the business
- Structures and oversees the execution of Advertising and Promotion
- Edits company literature, product profiles, company website
- Organizes participation at important event and speaking opportunities
- Organizes customer events
Support Functions:
- Strategy/Corporate Development/Investment Requests
- Assists GM in the strategy development and review
- Establishing and reviewing the 5 - year business plan
- Assists GM in the search and evaluation of acquisition partners
- Preparing and submitting Investment Requests for business expansion and global outreach.
- Designs and oversees internal training programs
- Covers the section “business development” in internal training programs
Job Requirements
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
- Strong business skills evidenced by a business qualification or track record of managing similar businesses.
- Technical understanding of information and web based systems evidenced through qualifications or previous management experience.
- Strong analytical skills
- Sound, up-to-date working knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice affecting the e-Commerce function.
PERSONAL SKILLS:
- Ability to directly lead and develop a small business unit and manage growth.
- Authority and flexibility in coordinating and influencing activities across a complex organization.
- Ability to develop strategy and manage its implementation.
- Project management skills with an ability to see things through to completion in a challenging environment.
- Customer focus and the ability to look at operations from the customer’s perspective.
