Job Description
- Co -Teachers assist the Class teacher & help children to communicate and interact in a class and to develop basic learning skills (verbal, written and numeric) through fun lessons and interesting activities, which encourage creativity, independent thought and expression. Additionally, assist them during lunch time and garden time.
- She has to report everything to the teacher.
- Carry out activities in line with the requirements of the early years foundation stage.
- Help children to communicate and interact in a class and to develop basic learning skills (verbal, written and numeric) through fun lessons and interesting activities, which encourage creativity, independent thought and expression. Additionally, assist them during lunch time and garden time.
- Read books to entire classes or to small groups.
- Generate activities for children.
- Observe and evaluate children’s performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
- Prepare objectives and outline, following curriculum guidelines or requirements.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment and materials, in order to prevent injuries and damage.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records, and prepare reports on children and activities, as required by district policies and administration regulations.
- Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children’s progress, and determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs.
- Ensure children are supervised at all times.
- Attending training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competences.
- Prepare daily children’s reports to parents.
- Ensuring the health and safety of children is maintained during all activities, both inside and outside the nursery.
