Job Description
- Review and approve samples , such as style, construction, workmanship and quality, measurement to ensure that they meet product specifications
- Provide technical control to factories and Merchandising team
- Provide technical advice and support to factories, customers, merchandising team and technical team
- Review and approve samples to ensure that they meet product specifications
- Identify customer requirements based on their design concepts, sketches and photos
- Review customers’ sketches and descriptions and decide if the potential issues with production in terms of measurement, size clarifications and adjustments, etc
- Review and approve samples to ensure that they meet product specifications
- Assist team members in understanding customer requirements
- Provide technical control, including customer requirements and standards, to ensure customer standards and quality are maintained
- Meet with factories to review customers’ comments and go through the sampling procedures
- Discuss work progress and difficulties encountered with Merchandisers
- Support manufacturing engineers during the introduction of new products into Production
- Develop detailed assembly and test procedures according to corporate standards
- Write, recommend, and participate in the development and implementation
- Provide written feedback on inefficient or design related issues in a team environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Clothing, Textile Merchandising, Textile or related discipline preferred
- Minimum 4 years' relevant experience
- Strong product and material knowledge with good product safety requirements
- Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded
- Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
- Strong problem solving skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks environment
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Literate in Microsoft office programs.
- Occasional travel is required
