Research Analyst – Sell Side

IdealRatings is expanding its Fundamental Research Desk to serve the growing demands of our customer. IdealRatings is having an open position for “Research Analyst- Sell Side” based in Cairo. The ideal candidate will carry out the following duties:

Job Description

• Conducts extensive equity research and analysis for the target markets
• Assists superiors in spreading, modeling, and financial analysis
• Complete assignments under guidance of superiors and stay up to date on technical matters and applies acquired knowledge appropriately
• Delivers quality products complying with the desk quality checklist, methods, and applicable framework under the guidance of superiors
• Maintain proper documentation and data workflow as per IdealRatings processes

Communication & Innovation

• Prepares concise, grammatically correct, spell-checked, and fully formatted documents and memos using appropriate business and technical language (English and Arabic)
• Communicates any project or timing difficulties to superiors - asks questions for clarification
• Does not hesitate to ask for feedback and actively requests feedback, coaching and guidance to improve performance and turn it into action, e.g. by establishing clear goals
• Solicits instruction, feedback, and coaching to improve performance; shows evidence of incorporating feedback into actions
• Assumes responsibility for own learning and seeks guidance from superiors; increases general knowledge and takes opportunities to fill knowledge gaps
• Contributes to team discussions, openly shares knowledge with others to learn from and provide insights
• Exhibits flexibility and is responsible for completing assigned tasks and involves others in an appropriate manner
