Senior Research Analyst – Sell Side

IdealRatings is expanding its Fundamental Research Desk to serve the growing demands of our customer. IdealRatings is having an open position for “Senior Research Analyst- Sell Side” based in Cairo. The ideal candidate will carry the following duties:

Job Description

• Conducts complicated research and provide analysis & recommendation
• Assists in preparing and finalizing reports, models, and valuations
• Demonstrates the importance of quality by reviewing subordinates output and makes the necessary adjustments
• Ensure deliverables documentation process are up to date
• Starts understanding the basics around analytical and strategic thinking
• Attends to problems as they arise by following instructions, asking questions for better understanding

Communication, Leadership & Innovation

• Establishes concise and well-formulated documents including appropriate terminology (English and Arabic)
• Provides constructive coaching to Analysts and actively requests feedback, coaching and guidance to improve performance, and turn it into action; e.g. by establishing clear goals
• Feels comfortable understanding & working with individuals with very different styles and ability to adjust information for different target groups
• Solicits instruction, feedback, and coaching to improve performance; shows evidence of incorporating feedback into actions
• Identifies potential obstacles to the completion of assignments, and acts appropriately according to the situation
• Assumes responsibility for own learning and seeks guidance from superiors, increases general knowledge, takes opportunities to fill knowledge gaps, evaluates personal knowledge, and suggests realistic steps
• Ability to manage multiple projects and present questions to project management approaches from superiors
• Displays a high level of initiative, effort and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently, work with minimal supervision, and demonstrate responsible behavior and attention to detail. Plus actively seeks challenging internal opportunities to share competences
• Contributes in establishing a positive working environment through cooperation and good relations with colleagues and other stakeholders
• Communicates to managers and other team members’ new ideas, concerns, or differing viewpoints
