Application Support Engineer

Job Scope:

• Provides all areas of the technical support function for all FIS products and applications on both staging and production environments; this includes understanding and reading logs, XML messages, implementing and executing data base queries in order to trouble shoot the issues reported.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

• Understanding all Fawry applications new features and their proper configurations
• Fawry Applications and products deployments on Fawry premises and external sites
• To provide operations support coverage, works with Incident Management and other support teams to address tickets/issues on time, hence is on call and may need to work during weekends, and after working hours.
• Works as team member to develop, and apply technical support related activities; including documenting needed flows , hints and tips, recurrent issues and their resolution
• Work schedule may involve late shifts

• Assists in training and orientation of other staff and/or users as needed
