Job Description
- Ensure accuracy of consolidated & executed planned purchase orders.
- Communicates with executives and gains approval for purchasing contracts with new vendors or on new supplies
- Continuously comparison shops and negotiates to make sure the company gets the best possible prices on needed supplies
- Communicates with suppliers and to make sure supplies get where they need to be when they need to be, even when a deadline is tight
- Periodical revision & update of the approved suppliers & price lists in the Planning & Control System.
- Provide coaching, training & development experiences to subordinates in the department.
- Issue SOPs systematizing the interface on business related matters with other departments.
- Responsible for determination of hazards, risk factors, environmental aspects and their evaluation.
- Responsible for compliance with legal and other requirements in his department.
- Checks inventory, tracks how inventory is used, and adjusts purchasing habits in accord with apparent trends
- Commitment to emergency plan execution.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics or Commerce.
- Skills: Leadership skills - Negotiation - work under difficult circumstances – to take responsibility.
- Languages: Good command of English Language (written &
spoken). - Experience: 7-10 years in Pharmaceutical Purchasing Field/FMCG
