Job Description
The Technical Office Manager provides technical & administrative information to the others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction
Duties:
- Supervise and review the preparation of construction method statements with construction personnel
- Planning and maintaining project budget and schedules
- Take part in the project management review and risk management review
- Liaise between the construction and engineering teams ensuring the harmony between engineering team requirements and construction team deliverables
- Prepare technical material submittal
- Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals
- Managing the cost analysis and cost control of site activities
- Review third-party invoices & client invoices
- Follow-up with subcontractors during negotiations and offer award or subcontract terms, performance and payments
- Maintaining organized and detailed project records
- Advance unique design theories resulting in specifications to develop the theories into products, components or systems.
- Prepare and present technical proposals exploiting new ideas and concepts.
- Evaluate, analyze and develop solutions to complex research or engineering problems.
- Provide guidance during the planning, designing, development and testing stages of the project management.
- Supervise the company’s operations and evaluate the procedures to judge their productivity and efficiency levels.
- Analyze the engineering methods used at the company and identify the areas that need improvement.
- Review the technical competence of the organization and judge the sophistication of the technology used at the company.
- Draft charts, maps and blueprints as required for developing the engineering documentations.
- Take suitable actions in response to the queries, suggestions and complaints.
- Perform research on various issues and generate the necessary knowledge base for the organization.
- Make recommendations to the project teams on improving the productivity at a reduced price.
- Revise all of drawing step by step with the consultants start from the concept design up to the shop drawing will be executed at the sites.
- Provide all the projects with composite drawing it’s already coordinated with the consultants after approved designs.
- Manage the cost estimation process and cost control for the site of our running and upcoming projects.
- Review and approved all of the bill of quantitative for all projects.
- Responsible for handle over the design and drawing to the section heads for operation.
- Prepare and review all the contracts.
- Revise all specification according to the manual designs.
Job Requirements
- Have experience in water waste field
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil Department )
- 10-15 years of relative experience
- In-depth up to date technical knowledge
- Arabic: Fluent
- English: Good
- Developed communication and time management skills
- Ability to use the main MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook)
- Physical Effort & Environment
- Frequent physical movement required
