Job Description
- A fair understanding of fundamentals and concepts of Magento, PHP, and Zend.
- Ability to develop and manage e-commerce websites, web applications, other websites.
- Work on Magento integration with external systems, viz CMS/CRM/ERP/Payment/Shipping etc.
- Can understand the goals and create strategies for each project.
- Knowledge in Magento Extension development.
- Analyze, debug, and test code.
- Write well-engineered source code that complies with accepted web standards.
- Must be a self-starter & be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Participate in project & deployment planning.
- Architect and propose Magento solutions as per client requirements
- Review business requirements working with other team members
- Perform a technical analysis of requirements
- Produce a solid, detailed technical design
- Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision
- Work with the QA and Customer Support teams to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround
- Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use
- Train the subordinate team of developers
- Create reusable components, which can be configured for different projects
- Create test plans and perform thorough quality analysis on the code before go live Research on new integration and plug-in capabilities
- Be actively involved in the pre-sales activities by demonstrating technical capabilities through POC
Job Requirements
- Exposure on Magento, CMS, CodeIgnitor, OpenCart, JavaScript/ jQuery.
- Extensive experience of PHP 5+ and MySQL.
- Focused on Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Demonstrable knowledge of XML, XHTML, CSS, Modules i.e. API integration, Payment Gateways, XML with a focus on standards.
